A good place to play. A fair place to share.
Open Source Games helps players find games with public, openly licensed source code. Everyone is welcome to play, review, and build here.
Submitting a game
Submit games you created or are authorized to manage. Provide a public source repository, an open-source code license, an accurate description, and a working play or download link. Say when a game is unfinished, requires a local build, or needs files from a commercial original.
Use real gameplay screenshots you have permission to publish. Explain the licensing for art, music, and other assets separately from the code. We do not host executable downloads; downloads stay with the project's official distribution.
Review before publication
New games, changes to published pages, ownership claims, and creator updates go through moderator review. Approval checks relevance, evidence, links, and content. It does not mean every build has been audited or every platform tested. Creators receive status and review notes in their studio.
Reviews that help someone decide
Write about your own experience. Be specific about what worked and what didn't. No harassment, hate, threats, impersonation, spam, paid review manipulation, or illegal content. Creators cannot review their own games. You can edit or delete your own review.
Ownership and credit
An editorial listing is not a claim to ownership. To manage an existing page, provide evidence on the official project that confirms your role and public profile handle. A moderator checks that evidence before granting control. Never send private credentials.
Reporting a problem
Signed-in members can report games, reviews, creator updates, and profiles. Include enough detail to understand the issue. Moderators can hide content, suspend accounts, and record decisions. For licensing or ownership concerns, include the relevant official source in your report.
Your account
Your profile and published contributions are public. Your email and game library are private. You can download your data, sign out on all devices, or delete your account from settings. Published game pages may remain available without your account attached.
